Established in 1987
L.D.Varley Weathervanes are manufactured in Melbourne Australia to the highest standards utilizing traditional sand casting techniques. The Rooster, Arrow and indicator Arms are cast in Aluminium and finished in either Satin Black, Gloss Hawthorn Green or Gloss Burgundy Powder Coating. The overall height is 770 mm, the Arrow is 500 mm long and the Rooster is 250 mm high. The centre spindle is zinc plated mild steel and powder coated, it is also machined to act as a long life bearing and support for the arrow assembly, two mounting holes are also provided toward the bottom of the spindle. Fixing screws for the indicator arms are stainless steel.
