Acme Fluid Handling design and manufacture steel and stainless steel Truck Loading Arms for LPG and other products. Design includes three piece swivel joints which enable seal replacement without removing the swivel balls (a failing in many designs). The swivel seal is an Impregnated teflon "V" seal with mechanical expander which offer extremely long life. Swivels joints also include leak detection port for early warning of any leakage. Arm balancing is by spring cylinder and gas strut, the design illustrated below also includes an Emergency release system in the event of the Tanker attempting to drive away while the arm is connected to it.
